Rhizome Barrier.

Annual root pruning is one way to control bamboo growth. Our root barrier of 40 mil. polyethylene, ultraviolet-resistant plastic is another. It redirects the rhizomes of bamboo or roots of other traveling plants. See Care & Maintenance of Bamboo for tips on use of the barrier. We sell it in widths of 24 or 30 inches for $1.60 or $1.75 a linear foot. If you buy a whole roll (approx 350 ft) for the 24 inch size the price drops to $1.44 per foot. A whole roll (approx 300 ft) of the 30 inch size runs $1.58 per foot.
